What Could Happen If You Don't Stop
The risks of today's drinking standards are very high for teens. Today there are 10.1 million under aged drinkers and they are teens. Drinking leads to alcohol poisoning, kidney failures, hard time concentrating in school and the most common one, unprotected sexual activity. (www.carbontexas.org/Youth-Drinking-Issues) Because of today's society and the drinking problem among teens, it causes teens in High School to receive D's and F's or maybe cause them to drop out. They don't realize how serious it can be to their life. It could cause them to be an alcoholic or maybe a homeless person. Many homeless people are homeless because of drugs and being an alcoholic. More and more teens turn to alcohol for a stress reliever such as Marijuana. Drinking causes them to forget things they want to forget and if drinking is involved they could be risking their lives. Kidney Failures are most of the time produced by alcohol. And if there is a continuous of drinking it could cause life threatening situations.

It was really good, and you had strong points, but maybe include more pictures.
ReplyDeleteI think you needed to read your sources a little more thoroughly. The last one is done by a University in Georgia, so they are talking about senior year of college. Alcohol poisoning is caused from drinking too much alcohol at one time...which is different than being poisoned by lead or food (which actually contain bacteria that makes you ill). It would have come across better if the last statement in the last paragraph had not been a 'you' statement. That leaves the reader feeling defensive. Overall, I know your heart is in the right place, but it needs work. 17/20
